Unable to turn on issue is rampant not just on Samsung Galaxy S3 but even to those devices that has higher version of firmware. So, in this article I will address those emails sent by our readers complaining that their Galaxy S3 suddenly went dead and refuses to turn on even though the battery is fully-charged. We are going to look at all possibilities and rule-out each one of them so that we can determine if there's something to do with its hardware or this is just a minor software issue. To begin the troubleshooting, just follow these methods:
Step 1: Connect your phone to the charger for 20 minutes
Before you start any troubleshooting procedures on your phone it's necessary that you should check first if the device will respond once it is connected to the charger. Doing this, will verify if the current is perfectly flowing in the circuit and there were no damaged hardware components causing the problem. So, if it is charging normally it is evident that this might be a glitch in the system. When the time elapse, attempt to turn the device on. But if the issue still persists, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Perform Soft-reset on your phone
This is called the battery-pull procedure and this is very common to those devices that has removable battery. The purpose of doing it on your phone is to close all apps running in the background and to refresh it's memory as well. - Press and hold the Power button.

Step 4: Attempt to boot in Recovery Mode and Wipe the cache partition

- Turn off the device completely.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Home keys, then hit the Power button.
- When the Phone vibrates, let go of the Power button but continue holding the both Volume Up and Home keys.
- After a few seconds, the Android System Recovery screen appears; you can let go of those keys now.
- To wipe all caches in your phone, use to Volume Down key to choose 'wipe cache partition' or if you want to perform full factory reset, choose "wipe data/factory reset'.
If the device power on successfully, we suggest you to wipe the cache partition so that newer files will be created by the system.
