Quick Fix on Galaxy S3 stuck in Samsung logo

If your Samsung Galaxy S3 stuck in the logo and all the hardware buttons were not functioning without apparent reason, it seems like the system of your phone is experiencing the so-called system crashing. Meaning, the firmware and the other services of your Galaxy S3 stops working that is why your device could not successfully boots up and stuck in the logo. As a matter of fact, there are lots of possibilities that might triggered this issue, it could be the firmware was bugged, defective SD card or the user manipulated the software and caused the issue.

So, in this post, I'll discuss the same issue that we received from one of the emails complaining that their Galaxy S3 could no longer get past from the Samsung logo and all hardware buttons became unresponsive without apparent reason. We will try to isolate the problem by doing a step by step procedure on your phone until we can find a solution and fix the issue.

Here are the step by step procedures that you should do on your Samsung Galaxy S3

Step 1: Perform Soft reset
If you didn't tried performing a restart on your phone, then this would be the right time that you should do it. This method is called by many as the battery-pull procedure, wherein its main purpose is to refresh the memory of the phone and close all applications and other services running in the background. To do so, just remove the battery of the device and press the Power key for at least 10 seconds to discharge all stored electricity in the hardware components. After you do the method, try to turn your phone on again and see if it can successfully boots up. If not, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Boot it in Recovery mode
In dealing with this issue, it is imperative to be sure that your phone doesn't have any damaged hardware components that might trigger the issue by booting it in recovery mode. This will power up all hardware components except its android interface, so, even if the device does have a software issue your phone will still boot up once you do the method. If it boots up successfully, try to wipe the system files and data so that fresher ones will be created. Here's how:

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time: Volume Up key, Home key and Power key.
  3. When the phone vibrates, let go of the Power key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up and Home keys.
  4. When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up and Home keys.
  5. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
  6. Press the Power key to select and wipe the cache.
  7. With 'Reboot System Now' highlighted, press the Power key to restart the device.
If, however, your device boots up and still unable to get past from the Samsung logo, then, we suggest you to seek assistance from the tech for your device firmware needs to be reflashed.
